Mapxus, in strategic partnership with Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Kotozna, has deployed the "mapxus Driven by Kawasaki™" solution as the navigation engine for the new "AI Concierge" at Kobe Harborland umie.
This Proof of Concept (PoC), located at the 1F Information Desk, integrates Kotozna’s Generative AI with our high-precision indoor mapping technology to deliver a seamless, multi-lingual support system for visitors.
A Unified Digital Solution: AI Chat Meets Indoor Mobility
The "AI Concierge" is designed to assist both local shoppers and international tourists by combining two powerful technologies:
Kotozna’s Generative AI: Provides real-time, natural language chat support in five languages (Japanese, English, Traditional/Simplified Chinese, and Korean).
"mapxus Driven by Kawasaki™" Solution: Instantly converts the AI's recommendations into actionable navigation routes.
How the Solution Works
Visitors can simply ask the kiosk questions like "Where can I eat Kobe beef?" or "Find a baby room." Once the AI identifies the destination, the "mapxus Driven by Kawasaki™" solution takes over:
Seamless Hand-off: It generates a QR code on the kiosk screen.
Kiosk-to-Mobile Navigation: Users scan the code to transfer the route to their smartphones instantly.
Hardware-Free Experience: The solution provides turn-by-turn guidance across the complex without requiring users to download a separate app.
