One platform to teach indoor mapping technology — and power daily campus operations. Mapxus helps schools and universities educate future-ready talent while simplifying navigation, accessibility, and campus management — using one shared indoor map.
Digital skills education often stops at coding and data. Spatial intelligence, a core foundation of AI and robotics, is rarely taught in a practical way. Schools need hands-on tools that help students understand how digital systems interact with real-world spaces.
Modern campuses are mini-cities, with multiple buildings, floors, facilities, and users. Yet many schools still rely on static maps, fragmented systems, and manual coordination to manage navigation, accessibility, and facilities.
Students, staff, visitors, and people with accessibility needs all use campus spaces differently. Schools need inclusive, easy-to-use digital tools that work instantly — without adding IT burden or requiring everyone to install new apps.
Mapxus Academy turns indoor mapping from a concept into a hands-on learning experience.
Students don’t just learn what indoor maps are — they build them, publish them, and experience the results instantly through Mapxus Anywhere.
What students learn
How indoor spaces are digitized
How spatial data is structured and standardized
How indoor maps support navigation, AI, and robotics
How spatial intelligence connects to real applications
The same platform used for education can also power daily campus operations.
Mapxus Anywhere acts as a lightweight, web-based campus portal — accessible to everyone, without app installation.
Common campus use cases
Visitor and student navigation
Barrier-free and accessible routing
Event discovery and campus promotions
Normal vs emergency operating states
Room and space information access
Not everyone wants to download a campus app — especially visitors or short-term users.
Mapxus works web-first for instant access, while also integrating seamlessly into existing campus apps using the same UI and map experience.
What this enables
QR-based campus navigation for visitors
App-integrated experience for students and staff
Consistent UX across web and app
No duplication of design or data
One campus map. Multiple entry points.
Indoor spatial data reveals how campus spaces are actually used.
Beyond timetables and booking systems, spatial intelligence helps schools understand movement, congestion, and space utilization.
Examples
Identify overcrowded areas and peak usage
Improve wayfinding for new students
Optimize event and exam venue planning
Support safer and more efficient campus flow
All insights are privacy-first and aggregated.
Mapxus provides a single indoor spatial intelligence platform that serves education,
operations, and innovation.
