Cyberport Brings QR Code Indoor Navigation to Its Kiosks and Lifts with Mapxus Anywhere

April 21, 2026

Cyberport, one of Hong Kong's flagship technology hubs, has officially launched Mapxus Anywhere QR code integration across its kiosk system and lift lobbies. This deployment makes smart indoor navigation accessible to every visitor from the moment they step inside, requiring no app downloads or hardware installations.

The service is now live across kiosks on Levels L1 and L4, as well as in every lift lobby within Buildings 1 and 2. By placing QR codes in these high-traffic areas, Cyberport is extending the touchpoint beyond dedicated information desks and embedding navigation directly into the building's everyday flow. This ensures that digital guidance is available on demand, exactly where visitors need it most.

The initiative reflects a broader shift in how large scale commercial and technology campuses approach the visitor journey. Rather than centralising support at a single counter, Cyberport is distributing access points throughout its infrastructure to create a more intuitive environment.

Mapxus Anywhere powers the experience through its hardware-free and browser-based platform. A single scan takes users directly to a live, interactive floor plan of the entire campus, covering Buildings 1 through 5, the shopping arcade, and the waterfront promenade. From indoor to outdoor, the route never breaks.
